Winning Gold
ALFA Culinary & Beverage and the participating students Valentina Galantari, Christos Sanga and Marios Papaprodromou were selected as the Gold Medal winners at the 2nd Sustainable Gastronomy Competition at the Lidl Food Academy in Nicosia, on June 15 2022. This was an event organised under the auspices of the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports and Cyprus Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment and the Cyprus Chefs Association. According to the panel of judges the standards of the competition in culinary skills was very high, with the ALFA Culinary and Beverage student chefs presenting excellent dishes that met the standards and principles of responsible gastronomy as well as for culinary abilities and knowledge.
